Girlvanise

Turning a powerful idea into credible and scalable brand

Girlvanise is an initiative focused on encouraging more girls to participate in sport, connecting schools and grassroots clubs to build long-term engagement.

The idea was strong, with a clear purpose and energy behind it.

The challenge was turning that idea into something that could be taken seriously, communicated clearly and scaled.

The issue wasn’t intent.
It was structure and credibility.

The situation

At its early stage, Girlvanise existed as a concept with ambition, but without a defined brand to support it.

Without a clear identity:

  • the initiative risked being seen as informal or short-term

  • the message could become diluted or inconsistent

  • it would be harder to engage partners, participants and supporters

The vision was there.
But it needed to be presented in a way that would build trust and momentum.

The shift in approach

We worked closely with Charlotte to translate her vision into a brand that could carry weight and communicate clearly.

The focus was on balance.

The brand needed to:

  • feel energetic and engaging for a younger audience

  • communicate strength and confidence

  • retain enough structure and professionalism to appeal to parents, schools and partners

This meant creating something that could inspire, but also be taken seriously.

What we delivered

  • A brand identity that combined energy with clarity and strength

  • A website designed to communicate the initiative and support event sign-ups

  • Branded materials to support events and participant engagement

  • Email communications to ensure consistency across outreach

Everything was designed to create a cohesive and recognisable presence.

The impact

With a clear and structured brand in place, Girlvanise was able to present itself with greater confidence.

  • A more professional and credible platform for the initiative

  • Stronger engagement with participants and supporters

  • A clearer message that could be communicated consistently

More importantly:

The idea moved from concept
to something that could be understood, supported and developed further.

Client perspective

“Bespoke Brands understood the brief and my aspirations… they delivered a strong brand and a website that really targets the audience.

They took my ideas and elevated them.”
