Wilson Builds

Building a brand from the ground up, then creating a platform to support its growth

Wilson Builds is a premium timber frame construction company, delivering high-quality, design-led homes across Cumbria and the surrounding areas.

From the outset, the ambition was clear.

This was not about competing on volume. It was about positioning the business at a higher level, attracting the right clients and building a reputation around quality.

The situation

We first worked with Wilson Builds at the very beginning of the business.

At that stage, there was no brand, no presence and no established position in the market.

What existed was:

  • strong craftsmanship

  • clear ambition

  • and a desire to do things properly

Over time, the business developed a niche within the timber frame and bespoke residential market, building a reputation for quality work and attention to detail.

However, as the business evolved, its digital presence began to lag behind.

The website no longer reflected:

  • the quality of the work

  • the type of projects being delivered

  • or the level the business was operating at

The brand had grown.
The website had not kept pace.

The shift in approach

Rather than treating the website as a standalone project, we approached it as the next stage in the brand’s evolution.

The goal was to bring together:

  • the original brand foundations

  • the body of work Wilson Builds had developed

  • and a clearer, more confident market position

This meant:

  • repositioning the business around quality and specialism

  • structuring the site to showcase projects more effectively

  • improving how potential clients understand the offer and process

The focus was not just on how the site looked.
It was on how it supported the business commercially.

What we delivered

  • The original brand identity, applied across vehicles, signage, workwear and stationery

  • A fully redesigned website aligned with the current position of the business

  • Project-led content to showcase the quality and detail of the work

  • A clearer structure to support user journeys and enquiries

  • Supporting copy and messaging to reinforce positioning

  • The website became the point where everything came together.

The impact

With a brand that had matured over time and a website that now reflects it properly, Wilson Builds is positioned more clearly within its market.

  • A stronger and more professional online presence

  • Better alignment between the quality of work and how it is presented

  • Increased confidence in directing prospective clients to the website

Early signs are already positive.

  • A new enquiry was received through the website on the day it launched

More importantly:

The business now has a platform that reflects the level it operates at
and supports the next stage of its growth.
