Who we helped —

Murton & Co, based in Lancaster, are experts in energy efficiency. They help customers achieve compliance, comfort and cost savings on commercial and domestic properties, both in new-builds and existing buildings.

What we did —

In 2019, much of Murton & Co’s marketing focused on the fact they were a firm of chartered surveyors. They were in danger of being sucked into doing standard chartered surveying work, which was not the direction they wanted to take. Their real area of expertise was in compliance and building performance and working with domestic and commercial clients to save them money on their properties and developments.

Bespoke Brands created a new logo that better reflected Murton & Co’s core values and position them in the marketplace. The golden ampersand was the dominant symbol in the new logo, emphasising Murton & Co’s role as a connector and the importance the company places on building relationships.

The new slogan we developed – Building Performance – ties in with the company’s belief that if we can help to make a client’s property cheaper to run through energy efficiencies, it will ultimately be more valuable to both the landlord and the tenants.

Bespoke Brands gave them the confidence to continue to develop the company in the right direction to become the one of the North West’s top sustainable consultancies. It was the start of what has become a fruitful relationship between the two companies.

We helped Murton & Co to sharpen their marketing focus as it looked forward to the next ten years.

Bespoke Brands has worked closely with Jonny and Caroline on all aspects of their branding and marketing, including publicity, email and social media campaigns, and the development of a new website to provide consistent branding across all their marketing collateral.
